Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Modern Sunset Restaurant, LLC (“Patty Boys,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit www.pattyboysla.com (the “Site”). It does not cover our restaurant's in-person services or the apps and websites of other companies, such as Toast, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instagram, Yelp or Google Maps. Those companies have their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you send a catering inquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), event date, number of guests, pickup or delivery preference, and anything you write in your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our web host automatically records technical information. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit.

Cookies and similar technologies. We also use:

• Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the Site. Examples include which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked.
• Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, to measure the results of our ads on Instagram and Facebook. It may also be used to show our ads to people who visited the Site.

These tools set cookies, such as _ga and _fbp, and send information about your visit to Google and Meta. This includes your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you view and the buttons you click.

You can turn these tools off at any time by clicking “Reject” in our cookie banner or “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of any page. After that, we do not load them on your device, and we remove their cookies from our Site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load these tools at all.

How we use information

We use information to:

• reply to your catering inquiry and plan your event;
• run, secure and fix the Site;
• understand how the Site is used and improve it;
• measure our advertising, unless you turned it off;
• comply with the law and protect our rights.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us run the Site. Examples:
  • our web host, Railway;
  • FormSubmit, which delivers catering inquiries to our email;
  • our marketing partners, who help us review Site traffic.
• Google and Meta, through the cookies described above, unless you turn them off.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
• A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized.

When you click a link to order through Toast, DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub, you leave our Site. Those companies collect information under their own policies.

Your choices

• Cookies. Click “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• Global Privacy Control. We treat a GPC signal from your browser as a choice to reject cookies.
• Google and Meta. You can also manage ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we have about you;
• delete it;
• correct it;
• not “sell” or “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request, email info@pattyboysla.com or call (424) 777-1881. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Rejecting cookies in our banner, or using Global Privacy Control, turns off the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. It works as your choice to opt out of “sharing.”

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for it, so we respond to Global Privacy Control instead, as described above.

How long we keep information

• We keep catering inquiries for as long as needed to reply, serve your event and keep normal business records.
• Our web host keeps technical logs for a limited time.
• Google and Meta keep data under their own settings and policies.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No website or email system is completely secure.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
